I'm back....

O.K......I know that i have been gone for awhile, but i am back. JD and I went home for vacation to Hawai'i and attended The famous Merrie Monarch festival held on the Big Island of Hawai'i. The photo is of us with our talented and dear friend : Kumu Napua Greig (she would be the one in the middle). Her Halau - Na Lei Kaumaka O Uka hails from the island of Maui and came in 2nd place this year for the Wahine (women) Kahiko(ancient) division. We are so proud of her and her girls. Also, i should mention that she has a new CD coming out in June called "Pihana".
So if you are a Hawaiian Music lover i suggest this be on your list of things to get.
Being friends with Napua has it's perk's.....I got to listen to the demo already......
and it's a good one!!!! so don't miss out!
